Monday night...
myself and Warren went along to a music event put on by the guys involved in Project Hope, Swansea. It seamed fitting that outside the building, parties were being thrown to celebrate the Swans getting into the premiership. People's hopes had been granted alright.
One of the reason's i was keen to go, was because The Rend Collective were playing, i saw them briefly in Momentum last year, and there worship is really energizing. They're a creative bunch, and was stunned by the take they had on 'Be thou my vision', it was beautifully raw and colourful.
You tube them...
(Also their album is on spotify.)
Andy Hunter played, and there was a few moments which just took the word 'worship' and defined it. Hard to explain, but i didn't think electro stuff could ever do that.
Erm,
i'll finish with some pictures i love
just to brighten it up...
'Boyf' hahahahahahhahahhhahhahaha!
I never told you about seeing 'Young the Giant' in bristol, a few weeks ago now, but that's us with the lead beaut of a guy. Who incidentally fell on my head. I take too many pictures of Caswell Bay from that angle, but it never gets old.
Let me paint the picture.. Warrens been put in Jail by Police Man Aedan, the handcuffs are a belt (which i think is a geniusly creative idea for a 4 year old!)
Getting ready for the 'Sri Lankan' themed fashion show, thats one of the dresses :) x x x
