[The colour scheme is based on a ring i got for christmas]

1.So i woke up this morning and peaked through my curtains, in truth with the hope of seeing a fresh blanket of snow. In some ways i've struggled to find the world beautiful in the past few weeks, and snow manages to coat even the ugliest of buildings in a tranquil splendour.
Disappointed for maybe 0.5th of a second, because i saw this instead...

Which left me with no grounds to moan of my disappointment, and supplied me equally of the wish to see the world in a beautiful light.

2.Still on the topic of 'Light', i took a stroll to this place where you can see Caswell, but avoid walking down (then up) the hill. I go there when i need to breath, and i feel like i haven't had a second to breath in the past month. So i took 10 minuets just to breath.

I love how the sky and the sea blend into one, it felt like i was being incased and then the twigs on the left remind me of dear.

3.I started reading this story about a girl called Sarai it spoke about how beautiful she is and the sacrifices she had to make for her husband and family. Then it ended, and i was like 'noooo' so i flicked through the pages and discovered her name was changed to Sarah. Previously Sarah couldn't have children she was barren, and then i read this line..
"And Sari your wife: Don't call her Sari any longer; call her Sarah. I'll bless her - yes! i'll give you a son by her! Oh, how i'll bless her! Nations will come from her; kings of nations will come from her.'

As of yet there is nothing more to say on the above, other than i want to know more about Sari/Sarah, she's intriguing.

4.A note on confidence, and the second funniest conversation i've had all week, just because truthfully its slightly rediculas.

Well i was having my portfolio looked over by a tutor, and we got to some unfinished screen prints id done, and she suggested that i stick them in with masking tape which is all well and good.

She proceeded to say by sticking things in with masking tape is quite a risk because its not very neat and shows the work is unfinished - however, it shows some confidence on your part - and seeing that your not that confident it might be a good idea to take the risk.

Then she called anouther tutor over for a second opinion a tutor who knows me better. Explaining the situation she finished again on the fact of my lack of confidence. The tutor however disagreed  and said this,
"noo, shes just quietly confident, like my husband he's quietly confident"

But hey, im still sticking my prints in with masking tape just to show my confidence, incase my voice and character fail to do it for me.

Happy 100th Post
Im currently sitting watching 'Trans Atlantic sessions' which is a load of fiddles, fluets, bangos and many more highlandic/atlantic instruments.
Its getting me into the idea of possibly living in Scotland next year for uni. So yes Uni, two digital portfolio requests and an interview so far....

So we shall see about university. Im slightly aggravated by the fact they ask so much of you...
1)Ucas/statement
2)digital portfolio
3)interview - real life portfolio
4)you find out wether you get a place!

Its such a long process, and such hard work and its not even like i 'Win' something at the end, i get the chance to pay them lots of money ...reminds me abit of 'Ebay' (You don't WIN you BUY)

3.
I've had a lovely past few days consisting of new years and birthday celebrations which took place in a remote part of carmarthenshire. In order for that to of happened, i had to make a decision. I based it on this... I believe that when it gets to the stage that something/somebody else is making decisions about your life that you don't agree with, then don't do it - My family comes first.
