I feel like Autumn is on the way.

"I close my eyes and I hear the sounds, smell the smells and breath the air I was concentrating on memorizing. "

Carissa Gallo takes beautiful photos and with her husband make gentle films. I think this is her in the photo to my left. But i find them as a couple really inspiring.

Today, i had the great privilege  of assisting my friend Suz on her journey from Llangadog to London.

As she was doing this all by public transport, with a hiking rucksack, 2 handbag type bags and a MANNEQUIN!

The Mannequin was creating quite a stir in the remote welsh village.

{When home becomes a holiday}

I love going to a new place, even if in proportion to the world its relatively close.

And the Bloody Tate!!
Let me introduce you to the doors of 'St Ives'...

After a few days with my family in Cornwall, i became a 'great westener' and took the train to Shepton Mallet for a few days camping with friends at Soul Survivor, a tremendously loud festival for Jesus lovers.

Sunday evening there was a Hog roast for all 6,000 people, we had Jazz playing in the corner and pigs roasting in the boiling sun, quite ideal.

One of my highlights from this years festival, was Rend Collective Experiment. I first saw them play about 3 years ago, they have this glorious energy thats infectious whether you agree with what they sing about or not. These guys are an example of what lifes about and how we should live it, i can't help but dance and sing when i hear them.
Check them out!!

Current Situation:

Sometimes during races such as the 800m theres time to relax and read a magazine.
Let me introduce you to the greatest piece of british publication...

'Oh Comely'

Wh Smiths are sneaky, i've been checking there shelves for the last couple of weeks ever since i knew this issue was out, and only yesterday did i manage to find it, hidden behind last months issue. Sneaky!

But, to my wonder this issue has an article on being a tourist in your home city. This is because, when your a tourist you see things in a place that you miss when your getting on with everyday life.

Now, Bognor Regis.
I know this seaside town very well! {My grandparents and cousins live there.} Its one of those places, known for:
 Butlins (infact i studyed a picture of bognor butlins in a history text book in year 10.)
retirement homes, thatched cottages, easy commute to london.

Many a times have i spent playing crazy golf hear in my childhood. I hate crazy golf, it brought out a bad side of me. Its still nice to see it as a tourist attraction, even if i wouldn't recommend it.

{Issue eleven}

I ended up feeling very sick on the bus, trying to read the beautiful little articles about 'a fear of garden fences.'

When the sun comes out, its a good idea to work outside...

[Emeli Sande]

The moment i heard this song, the words stuck with me....
If you're looking for the big adventureand gold is all that's on your mindIf all you want's someone to take your picturethen I won't waste your time.See, maybe I'm too quiet for youyou probably never noticed mebut if you're too big to follow rivershow you ever gonna find the sea?
Chorus:so follow me i'll be your river, riverI'll do the running for youfollow me i'll be your river, riveri'll move the mountains for youfollow me, i'll be your river, riveri'm here to keep you floatingfollow mei'll be your river river. River, river, yeah

If all you want are answers to your questionsAnd you can't seem to find no love for freeIf you're looking for the right directionThen darling, look for meSee, I can make the load much lighterI just need you to confide in mebut if you're too proud to follow rivershow you ever gonna find the sea?

Wherever you're standing, I will be by your sidethrough the good, through the bad, i'll never be hard to findso wherever you're standing I will be by your sidethrough the good, through the bad, i'll never be hard to find

On asked what this songs about, Emeli said:"I just sat down alone and wrote it at the piano and the lines came, I don’t know where from."Emeli went onto say that "I definatly believe in God and i believe in heaven, although i don't follow religion"
For me this songs an invitation for a new life and relationship, its a promise being spoken to her. Emeli has vocalised it, she's  made something spiritual and personal, into something which is attainable for everyone.

[Yesterday evening i went for a walk, with the purpose of finding something stunning to capture - looking back at my photos i really need to develop my photography skills because the pics i took don't give enough credit to how beautifully the light bounced of the sea. Caswell Bay becomes a different place when the tides in, the water crashes against the rocks and the surfers take to the waves.
I found a spot on the cliffs to sit and take it all in, its settings like this which make it hard to leave.]
